200hrs Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teachers Training Course in Mysore is for those who are looking for dynamic Asana practice to boost  flexibility in the body. This challenging Asana sequence will help you to calm down your mind as a ultimate result of special practices  called “vinyasa” taken between two asanas or within a asana practice along with powerful breathing and necessary lacks. Ashtanga vinyasa is a kind of hatha based on Ashtanga principles of pathanjali’s yoga practice to achieve steady and comfortable pose for cessassion of  modification of the mind called “chitta vritti nirodhah”. The group of asana series and counting is given based on yogadarshanam styles.

Yogacharya Santhoshji designed practice series to meet needs of the individual body (that’s what vinyasa originally meant for) and to practice Ashtanga Vinyasa style without any injuries.

1) Light on Hatha Yoga:

You will learn Ashtanga vinyasa primary series. There will be two Asana sessions to master various asanas of the Ashtanga yoga. Out of two Asana session, one session is mainly to focus in vinyasa system and another one is to prepare body very well with modification, variations and other techniques to benefit more from the course.

Practice includes:

  1. Vinyasa – A
  2. Vinyasa – B
  3. Standing group of Asanas
  4. Sitting group of Asanas
  5. Finishing series

3) Light on Pranayama:

This session contains various pranayama techniques to work on 12 different pranas. Pranayamas are to calm down your mind like bhramari pranayama, purification of the body like bhastrika, cleansing nadis like nadi shodhana pranayama and other important pranayama to promote health.

This course is not for you, if you are suffering from knee arthritis, sever back pain or neck pain. If this is the case your may join our yoga therapy practice.

Regular Schedule

5.50am – Be in the school and Mouna.

6am to 7.30am – Yoga Asana for Flexibility, Breathing Techniques, Loosening Exercises, Surya Namaskara, Relexation Techniques.

7.30am to 8.30am – Pranayama Practice and Meditation Practice.

8.30am to 9.30am – Break Fast.

9.30am to 10.30am – Yoga therapy Practice (15days) | Pre-natal & Post-natal Yoga (10days).

10.30am to 12.15pm – Yoga Theory, Philosophy, Yoga & Anatomy, Kids Yoga Classes (7days).

12.15am to 2.30pm – Lunch Break and Private Time.

2.30 pm to 3.30pm – Theory on Yoga therapy, Pregnancy Yoga, Mudra Yoga Study and Anatomy.

3.30pm to 5.00pm – Ashtanga Vinyasa Practice and Relaxation.

5.00pm to 6.00pm – Learning Corrections, Asana Techniques, Teaching Practice, etc.,

6.00 to 7.00pm – Focus on Bhakti Yoga, Chants, Jnana Yoga, Karma Yoga, Good times, Self study, Introversion, etc.,

7.00pm to 8.00pm – Dinner Time.

8.00 pm On-wards Personal Work, Preparations and Good night.

Note:

  • Don’t commit to any other works *Schedule may Subject to change.
  • Saturday is Half day and Sunday is full rest.
  • 2 to 3 hours daily Self Study is suggested

  1. Yoga Therapy Sessions – Theory and Practical on most common diseases to handle patients in the class.
  2. Pregnancy Yoga Training – Pre-conception, Prenatal stage and Postnatal stage in detail to handle pregnant women in the class.
  3. Kids Yoga Training with Acro Yoga Techniques – to manage children in the yoga class.
  4. Mudra Yoga – study of gestures to treat health issues when some one is not able to do yoga postures and exercises.

Vegetarian Yoga Food is served in our Yoga Restaurant . All vegetables are fresh collected from near by farmers. You can also order our tasty food , snacks, chats and yoga beverages on payment in the premises .
